Dr.
David Kamnitzer
Discusses His Work
After
over 30 years in the healing arts, I have evolved a way of
looking at health and well-being that I would like to share
with you. It is called Foundational Health.
Imagine
a triangle with sides of equal lengths. Label the sides as
follows: Structural, Bio-Chemical, and Energetic.
Each of these aspects contributes significantly
to Foundational Health.
Structural
aspects of health include alignment with gravity, proper movement
patterns, exercise, proper rest, posture, and resting muscle
tone.
Bio-Chemical
aspects of health include what you eat and drink, your level
of toxicity, topsoil quality, drug usage, air quality, ensuring
intake of necessary nutrients, etc.
Energetic
aspects of health include the impact of thoughts, emotions,
attitudes, expectations, beliefs, light, music and sound,
electro-magnetic fields of the earth, animals, plants, and
other people, as well as the impact of fields emanating from
man-made devices such as cell-phones, monitors, microwaves,
power lines, and other electronic equipment.
All three of these aspects interact with
each other, forming a reinforcing upward or downward spiral
of health.
I have discovered that when all three
aspects are addressed in a healing program, results are much
quicker, more powerful, and longer-lasting.
My
work involves the evaluation of and changes in all three areas.I
choose modalities and techniques on the basis of efficacy
and safety.Each
person is treated as a unique individual, and all treatments
plans are specific to the person involved. All
modalities and techniques are designed to empower and liberate
the healing potential within YOU – the patient…
…
just waiting for the right context or setting to reveal itself
more fully.

Chiropractic is a field of healing that although has ancient
roots, took form around the beginning of the 20th century.
Its founder, D.D. Palmer expressed a vitalistic philosophy
that postulates that their is a fundamental "vital force
and intelligence" that generates and permeates all living
things (the oriental world often refers to this energy as
"chi") -- and that it is the role of the healer
to detect and remove the "interference" to this
natural flow of Life and Health.
Palmer identified three major categories of potential blockages
that he referred to as "trauma, toxins, and auto-suggestion."
He was clearly a man ahead of his time, as we can easy see
the parallels between these words and such modern terms as
"sound structure and posture and movement patterns; proper
cleansing and nutritional regimens; and life-supporting beliefs
and attitudes."
Today, in practice, some chiropractors restrict their practice
to the structural aspect of Palmer's triad of health. Others,
such as Dr. Kamnitzer, are committed to offering patients
the complete "triad of health" and practice in a
much more holistic manner.
Dr. Kamnitzer takes his time with his patients, treating each
patient as a unique individual, with a special life-purpose
seeking ever-greater expression.

Almost anyone sincerely desiring to improve their level of
health can benefit from time with Dr. Kamnitzer. With that
being said, common presenting complaints include back pain
and stiffness, neck pain and stiffness, headaches, fatigue,
digestive disturbances, frequent colds and flus, and "just
not feeling right".

Dr. Kamnitzer subscribes to the
view that the individual requesting healing is their own healer,
and that his role is, in the tradition of D.D. Palmer, is
simply to assist in the removal of the physical, chemical,
and metaphysical factors that block the natural flow of Life
and Love. Once this flow is restored, healing takes a myriad
of different forms, according to each individual's priorities
and life blueprint.
